I recently lost my dog and wondered if he had just ceased to exist (as my pastor believes), or if he was with Jesus in heaven. We lost our little dog way too soon on new Year's Eve 2011, and after almost a year later my wife and I can't mention his name without getting chocked up. At least until we read this book. We had prayed numerous times about our hope that pets do go to heaven, and that our dog is there waiting for us now. After reading this well written book, we are now assured through evidence that God does take our pets to heaven, afterall, which makes good sense. I think this book is essential for any pet owner who had lost their animal and has wondered if he/she has a soul and is in what we humans call heaven. Thank you God, and thank you Mr. Woodward.
This book gave me some answers to a question my husband and I had talked about before he passed. I hope he found the answer for himself when he went to be with God. I had my first experience losing a beloved family dog in 1988. I began asking my precious Jesus where my dog went. Austin was a picture of love and loyalty. The Lord led me though scripture and showed my His plan for all of His creation to be with Him eternally. He has confirmed it to me over and over. As I read this book I was amazed at the scriptures that the Lord had led me to were many of the same scriptures that Mr Woodward had quoted.. I have never seen Jesus in a vision, but I have had 2 very real dreams of my pets in heaven and just like the author said, no words were exchanged but they wanted me to know that they were home and happy. They were young and beautiful. I know that they are no longer under my care, and now they are where they were intended to be from the garden. My Savior has all creation in His care and is so willing to show us things when we have the faith to ask Him. I am surprised at how some people are made uncomfortable by the thought of animals going to heaven. I just do not understand that. Our Creator and Savior Jesus Christ has unending and huge love.
For those searching for reassurance that our beloved pets are alive and well in Heaven and that we will see them again, this book is an absolute gem. Having recently lost a beloved cat, I searched for books providing comfort and reassurance from a biblical Christian perspective. Though I have read several other such books and they were helpful, none have touched my heart so deeply as this one. Is it a little rough around the edges, i.e. in need of some minor edits? Sure. But no matter. This book has so much heart that the message of comfort and reassurance far outweighs any superficial editing flaws. With each chapter, I felt more and more comfort from the author’s sincerity of heart and bible quotes. But it was the Second Vision chapter that made me absolutely weep because the message from the author’s vision so mirrored what I was sensing spiritually through my own fervent prayers. It was such a confirmation of all I hoped and believed. This book truly was Heaven-sent, and I thank the author from the bottom of my heart for stepping out in faith and penning it for the rest of us. “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!” Psalm 1506
This book was such a comfort to me. My kitty of 16 years, Mr. Personality boy, Colonel Mustard, died during the night. He was one of those cats who acted like a dog, even had a cough that sounded like a bark. He was one of 50 or so cats I have taken in over the years; all sad stories. So, life continues on, and my pain is still raw, but this book has given me hope that all is not lost. I miss my little fellow terribly, but I have my other 11 "children "who take care of me, and the other 40 or 50 "kids" in my life who have gone on ahead. Bless you and Jesus for writing this book! I cant wait for All of us to be together again!

I cried, I laughed, and it educated me. But mostly I know for sure now where my beloved dog is. This book is amazing. It has bible proof and a beautiful story that once you start to read it, you can't put it down! I give it 5 stars!! If you read this book you will have no doubts that your pet is in heaven.
